House Mouse Challenge #239 Stop and Smell the Flowers

For the House Mouse challenge 'Smell the flowers' I created a birthday card for my colleague. I used a double embossing technique. First I stamped the housemouse and made a mask for it. Then I stamped the swirls with Versamark and used clear embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment and covered it with cloud shaped post-its. I took 3 colours Distress ink for the background and used the swirl stamp with clear embossing powder. For the finishing layer I used black Distress ink to make the colours pop. With a wet tissue I cleaned the Distress ink from the embossed parts of the card. Now you can see the white and coloured parts clear. After removing the masks I coloured the House Mouse stamp and finished the card.

Materials:
- House Mouse cling stamp Grasshopper Leap HMCW06 -

- Distress ink Peeled Paint -
