Coffee Lovers Spring Hop

Yesterday I was checking out Facebook when I found a link to the Coffee Lovers Sping Hop. I'm not much of a coffee drinking person, I prefer tea but I got really excited to make a coffee card. So today I made a card to share with the Coffee Lovers Spring Hop coffee loving cardmakers

Just love making cards with Lawn Fawn products and one of my favorite stamps is Love you a Latte.

I made the background myself by taking a white cardstock and start stamping it with Versamark, threw some clear embossing powder on it, heat it and there is a start. With Distressink and a ink blending tool I gave it some color. Darken the edges with some Vintage Photo and the background is done!

To make sure my background paper does not blend in with the color of my card I put an extra piece of white paper behind it. Up next the center of my card, again a piece of white cardboard. Made round corners using a Round corning punch, gave it some dark edges with Vintage photo and it is ready for the next step. I found a nice piece of paper with polkadots on it and punched out a circle, Gave the edges of the circle some extra color using Distressink Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo. Used my Lawn Fawn products to make the coffee mug and colored it in with Distress ink.
 For the words I used Stamps from Love'n Breakfast and Violet's ABC. Used some foamtape to make the card pop up here and there. Hope you like it!
