Found a spot in these buzzy holiday period to enter the Rainbow Colours Challenge from House Mouse. I was really excited about this challenge and I received the perfect stamp for this challenge underneath the Christmas tree. From the moment I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to use a House Mouse stamp with candy and use alcohol ink in my card. The striped background is made with alcohol ink on photopaper. First I put tape on the edges of the photopaper to keep a white outline, then I droped the rainbow colours on a fresh cleaning towl and whiped it over the paper and there you have a strong rainbow background. There are so many choices of Distress ink colours in my collection, I found it hard to choose so I decided to only use the new Distress colours to colour the candy. I found a piece of cardstock with colored dots to add on my card to keep it playful. There was still something missing: a fitting sentiment! After a few minutes I figured that 'You are up for a treat' would fit perfect for this card. I hope you enjoy this colourful card!
