Just had to make a card with this jellybean jar for the
House Mouse Easter Challenge. Love that bird on top of the jar (will the beans hatch?) I coloured the image with Distress ink. First I coloured the jar with tumbled glass. I wanted to look like a thick glass jar so the colours of the beans had to fade away in the jar. To accomplish this I chose 6 colours for the beans and picked a bright and soft version of each colour: picked raspberry - spun sugar, wilted violet - shaded lilac, mustard seed - shabby shutters, twisted citron - shabby shutters, carved pumpkin - wild honey, evergreen bough - cracked pistachio. I'm happy with the result. I gave the background of the stamp a touch of coloour with shabby shutters and shaded lilac. For a finishing touch I placed some flowers and gem stones on the card.
